Below is what Dan from jersy emailed me about the Groups Of People Playing 'Music' Together.
"..........Here is some info on the Groups Of People Playing 'Music' Together that I had to put
together for a local listings mag. But it tells you a
little bit about the Groups Of People Playing 'Music' Together
Sitting somewhere between Yo la Tengo/Doves and
Stereolab, Menendez, comprising brother and sister Dan
and Rachel – (don’t let any white stripes comparisons
put you off) Pat and ‘Beaver’ are the musical
equivalent of a hot bath.
Menendez do not have a website
By sharp contrast Push to Fire will wake you from your
ambient state, grab you by the scruff of the neck and
force you to move to their contagious, dangerous
energy – in the nicest possible way. Formed from the
ashes of defunct powerhouse Strobe 45, P2F are the
embodiment of independent spirit – constantly touring
and playing their hearts out. For a dose of positive
force – do not miss!
A definate for any fans of an out of control rage
against the machine.

Both Groups Of People Playing 'Music' Together are set to be added to the growing roster
of great music on Function Records – a label set up in
2001 by three local(The other island with no music scene) guys from the Group Of People Playing 'Music' Together
Lebatol. Based primarily in London, Function Records
maintains strong links with the lively The other island with no music scene music
scene. Most recently with theimpending release of
local punk heroes Bulletproof’s incendiary new Quaint Collection of Recordings.
Released on November 8th ( later for The Island of Dreams) and
available at Seedee Jons. (no.19)
Bulletproof play with Lebatol for the launch of the
Quaint Collection of Recordings at the Q bar on Friday 5th of November. It
promises to be a great night"
